Our Flowcare department was keeping busy yesterday replacing 3 drives that had failed. Our service department operate a network of engineers through the UK, contact our team on 0333 200 1813.

Customer started to have problems with the old pump topping up and over pressure problems in the system.
After a site survey we found one of the expansion vessels had failed and the unit was in a bit of a state, due to not being serviced for years.

We replaced the old Flowtech unit with a brand new one and swapped out the failed 800 litre vessel, also removed a dead leg that the customer was worried about.

Today we fitted a brand new head on this twin head circulator today in a hospital. We got this back up and running in under an hour.

Original unit was plagued with problems, restrictive and poor suction pipework, excessive dead leg on the discharge manifold and years of all three pumps running day and night. The single pressure transducer had packed in long ago and the pumps were running all the time. This meant the pumps were at maximum pressure and leaks were more likely.

Subsequently the pipework was also getting warm overnight, rather than seeing the pumps switch off and therefore providing an avoidable legionella risk.

The client now has lower energy costs, no single points of failure, a new unit that is covered by our 24/7 warranty coverage for 2 years and we will then service and maintain it for them. What’s not to like?

Nice little service in Wales today on one of our Compact boosters.

When we carry out a service we inspect every inch of the unit. This one needed a bit of a clean, which, not only makes it look better, but allows us to find any defects or damage that could have been caused. Especially to the pressure vessel.

We did a survey and came across an old booster set, built and supplied by two of my previous employers and a tank that had seen better days.

The replacement of both booster and tank had to be done quickly to maintain water to the building so the whole job was turned around in 48 hours and commissioned at immediately after the pipework was completed. All done working hand in hand with the mechanical contractor.
