Flowtech’s CAT5 booster sets provide fluid Category 5 backflow protection alongside reliable cold water pressure boosting for large domestic and commercial premises.
The Flowpac AH C5 features WRAS-approved components, 1 or 2 stainless steel multistage pumps, and an integral polyethylene cistern, delivering flow rates of 0.5–1.9 l/s and pressure ranges of 0.5–10.5 bar with a maximum system pressure of up to 16 bar.
Every unit is fully assembled, wired, and tested prior to despatch, minimising on-site installation time, particularly important where an existing set is being replaced and downtime must be kept to a minimum.

A Category 5 booster set is required where there is a risk of contamination from substances hazardous to health entering the mains water supply, common in industrial, commercial, and certain healthcare settings. The type AB air gap in the Flowpac AH C5 creates a physical break between the mains inlet and the stored water, providing the highest level of backflow protection in line with water regulations.
The Flowpac AH C5 is available with a 68 or 227 litre nominal capacity cistern and 1 or 2 variable speed inverter-controlled multistage pumps on a powder-coated steel base. It operates on a single-phase 230V supply and includes dry run protection, minimum pressure alarm, safety start (slow fill) mode, and volt-free contacts for BMS integration as standard.
